The significance of Grande Vue dates back almost 120 years to its construction in 1906 as a Queen Anne mansion for Charles Joseph Fox, his wife Florence, and their children. Originally known as Coolangatta, the property has evolved through different phases. Initially a private residence for the respected Fox family, it later transitioned into a rest home, guest house, lodge, and now proudly stands as the renovated Grande Vue private hotel.
