All accommodation and pre-ordered extras must be paid for in full at the time of reservation by provision of credit card details.
A booking confirmation email must be obtained. If a booking confirmation email is not obtained, the booking is not confirmed.
By providing credit card details, guests warrant they have the authority to use the credit card and they authorise Grande Vue to charge the cost of their booking(s) and pre-ordered extras to that credit card.
The liability of Grande Vue arising from any cancellations of accommodation or a third party operator is limited to the amount paid for the cancelled booking.
COVID-19 cancellations within 7 days of arrival
If you cannot arrive into Hobart because of a Federal or State Government law, regulation or order which is in place for the purpose of preventing the spread of COVID-19 and that prohibits you from travelling from your ordinary place of residence to Hobart, you will be entitled to a refund on the following conditions:
You must request a refund in writing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Notice must be provided as soon as Federal or State Government laws are announced
At the time of requesting the refund, you must provide a clear copy of your photo ID which i) matches your name on the reservation and ii) displays the residential address where you ordinarily reside
We are satisfied that at the time of requesting the refund, there is a Federal or State Government law, regulation or other order related to COVID-19 in place which would reasonably prevent you from travelling to Hobart.
In the event of a booking cancellation, guests are entitled to a refund of their booking unless one of the following applies:
Where a booking is cancelled after 5:00 pm less than 7 days prior to the arrival date, the booking will not be refunded. Exemptions may be applied due to extenuating circumstances at the discretion of Grande Vue management.
No refund will be granted where a booking is cancelled for a stay(s) between 23 December and 2 January inclusive or for part of the booking which falls between these dates.
No refund will be granted in the event a guest does not arrive for their booking or cancels on the date of their booking and the credit card associated with that booking will also be charged the balance of the booking.
A cancellation confirmation email must be obtained. If a cancellation confirmation email is not received, the booking remains in effect.
Following an inventory check of your booked room(s) and lounge bar after guest check-out, Grande Vue reserves the right to charge any items not paid for by the guest at the time of check-out to the guaranteed credit card for that room. This includes other items that may from time-to-time be for sale in each room.
